Examples 1 The date of birth of Ron on July 25, 1985 (25/07/1985). Determine his birthday on the 28th of January, 2021 and confirm this using the calculator to calculate his age.

Solution:

Calculating the formula Ron's age:

Age of a person = Date given to a person - Date of birth.

Ron's Date of Birth = July 25, 1985.

Giving date: January 28, 2021.

Years"Difference" = 2020 + 85 = 35 years.

Months remaining from 25 July 2020 to 15 January 2021 = six months.

There are 3 days left from 25 January 2021 until 28 January 2021 is 3 days.

So, Ron's age is 35 years old, 6 months, 3 days.

Example 2. Harry's date of birth is July 13 the 13th of July, 1992. Determine his age by April 21st, 2016, and verify it by using the age calculator.

Solution:

Applying the formula to calculate Harry's age:

Age of a Person = Present date - Date of birth.

Harry's Date of Birth = July 13, 1992.

Years Year'Difference = 2015 - 1992 = 23 years. (This is determined from June 1992 to June 2015).

There are 10 months left from 13 June 2015 to 13 April 2016 , which is 10 months.

The remaining days of 13 April 2016 until 21 April 2016 , which is eight days.

Harry's ages will be 23 years 10, 10 months and 8 days.
